Nigerian Priest Wins School Administrator Award

Gabriel Ositadimma Anochilionye of St. Charles College, Onitsha, Nigeria, received the Anambra Man of the Year (AMTY) School Administrator of the Year Award for his leadership and improvements to the school. Since assuming his position in September 2024, he implemented academic, infrastructural, and administrative reforms.

These changes include constructing new hostels, establishing an ICT center, installing CCTV, and renovating existing facilities. He also expanded the curriculum to include Chinese language and robotics, and invested in musical instruments for the school choir.

The AMTY Awards recognized Anochilionye’s commitment to creating a positive learning environment and encouraging student participation in academic and extracurricular activities. He will receive the award at the upcoming AMTY ceremony, acknowledging his dedication to education and youth development.
