About ovr.news
ovr.news is a project by Busara.eu, an independent initiative based in The Netherlands. Busara.eu is the name the work appears under, not a company — it is published by Veen Systems, and who owns this has the full picture.
What ovr.news shows
What you read shapes how you see the world. ovr.news is a lens machine for seeing what works in it. Five constructive lenses read the vital signs of a living world: people thriving, communities holding, ecosystems healing, approaches that work, the past coming into focus.
Each story is sourced, dated, and linked back to its publisher. The lens tells you what kind of evidence you're looking at. You see the world differently because you have a different instrument for looking.
We don't want to be where you stop. Our summary is a way in, not the story itself — every article links to the publication that reported it, and we'd rather you went and read them. Check what we left out. Disagree with us. A lens is worth having because you can look through it and then look past it, not because it saves you the trouble.
About Busara
Busara develops educational resources, tools, and publications that help people navigate complexity. The mission: cultivating clarity and compassion in chaotic times.
Busara combines contemplative traditions, cognitive science, and media literacy research into practical resources. ovr.news is one of those resources: a lens for seeing what works in the world.
How we're built
ovr.news runs on open-source software and local AI. Our pipeline processes over a thousand news sources, scores articles across multiple dimensions, and generates summaries using language models running on our own hardware. Some scoring and fallback steps use cloud AI (Google Gemini) on article text — never on anything about you. No tracking. No ads today.
We are transparent about our methods. See how we work and our accountability page for the details.
