Tây Ninh Farmers Receive Loans and Feed

In Tây Ninh province, Vietnam, Tuổi Trẻ newspaper and GREENFEED Vietnam company presented loans and supplies to 40 farming families. Each family received a 25 million đồng, interest-free loan for two years, plus 3 million đồng worth of animal feed. The total aid amounted to 1.12 billion đồng, benefiting both the farmers and their children’s education with an additional 1 million đồng gift for 40 students.

Journalist Nguyễn Hoàng Nguyên noted this event is the 622nd installment of Tuổi Trẻ’s “For Tomorrow’s Development” program, which has supported thousands of struggling farming families across Vietnam for over 16 years. Vy Văn Khương of GREENFEED Vietnam explained the company chose Tây Ninh as the starting point for their 2026 “Supporting Farmers” journey, inspired by the progress they’ve witnessed in previous recipients.

Several farmers shared their stories, including Nguyễn Thị Huyền, whose family faced hardship after losing livestock to disease and her husband falling ill. Ngô Thị Giang recounted how a previous loan helped her family purchase a cow, enabling them to improve their living conditions.

The program will extend to Thái Nguyên, Gia Lai, and Lâm Đồng provinces, supporting another 120 families. Over 16 years, it has aided 2,780 families, with a repayment rate exceeding 95%.
