Hyperion Robotics Raises $7.4M to Automate Construction in Europe

Hyperion Robotics, a Finnish company, secured $7.4 million in growth funding to expand its robotic construction technology across Europe. Course Corrected and the European Innovation Council Fund co-led the round. Hyperion develops robotic microfactories that manufacture infrastructure components using a software platform called Forge, integrating design, engineering, and factory operations.

The company claims its method accelerates production up to three times, reduces costs by as much as 50 percent, and lowers carbon emissions by up to 70 percent compared to conventional construction. Hyperion also states its process uses up to 75 percent less material.

This investment will fund the launch of Hyperion’s first UK microfactory in Flixborough, England, in partnership with LKAB, and further development of the Forge platform. The company aims to address infrastructure renewal needs, labor shortages, and decarbonization goals within European markets.
