Ukrposhta Rebuilds Borodianka Post Office After Russian Damage

Ukrposhta reopened its central branch in Borodianka, Kyiv region, after a year of reconstruction following its near-total destruction by Russian forces during the 2022 occupation. The building had been used as a stronghold by troops before they retreated.

The Kyiv Regional State Administration coordinated the rebuilding effort, which was funded through a recovery program. Ukrposhta intends to develop the site further by creating a modern logistics hub.

This hub will serve as a base for mobile branches and a postal depot, aiming to improve delivery speeds and service for Borodianka and surrounding communities. The reopening follows the recent launch of an accessible bank branch in the same area, signaling continued recovery efforts.
