Jeep Expands Compass Lineup with Electric and 4X4 Options

Jeep unveiled extended versions of its Compass SUV in Germany, including a long-range electric model with up to 678 kilometers of range and a 4x4 version focused on off-road capability. The new electric Compass features a 96.3 kWh battery and can recover 80% charge in 27 minutes using a 160 kW fast charger.

The 4xe, Jeep’s branding for four-wheel drive, version boasts 375 horsepower and can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.9 seconds, excelling in challenging off-road conditions. Jeep also highlighted a mild hybrid option and a plug-in hybrid offering between 90 to 94 kilometers of electric range.

These additions aim to modernize Jeep's European lineup. The company plans to have six models available by 2030, focusing on electrification and European production, with the first new launch being the fully electric Recon SUV in 2027.
