VW Launches ID. Cross Electric SUV in Spain

Volkswagen began taking orders for its new ID. Cross electric SUV, manufactured at its Landaben plant in Navarra, Spain.

The 4.15-meter long vehicle starts at 25,600 euros with public subsidies and financing options. Volkswagen intends the ID.

Cross to make electric mobility accessible to a wider audience, completing its compact electric family alongside the ID. Polo and a future ID. Polo GTI.

The new SUV offers a more spacious interior than the T-Cross, accommodating five passengers with a 475-liter trunk and an additional 25-liter front compartment. It features a 10.25-inch digital instrument panel and a 12.9-inch central infotainment screen, incorporating technology previously reserved for higher-end models.

Volkswagen plans to release a more affordable version of the ID. Cross in the future. The initial launch includes versions with 211 horsepower and a 52 kWh battery, offering a maximum range of 426 kilometers.
