Venezuela Receives 131 Migrants Repatriated From US

Why this is here: This repatriation flight included six minors among the 131 returning citizens, indicating a focus on family wellbeing within the program.
Venezuelan authorities received 131 migrants repatriated from the United States on Monday. The group arrived at Simón Bolívar International Airport near Caracas on a flight from Miami. The returnees included 115 men, 10 women, and six minors.
Venezuelan security and social service agencies met the migrants upon arrival. Officials will conduct interviews and medical evaluations before transporting them to their home regions. The process includes assessment within a designated “migratory tunnel.”
This flight marks the 126th repatriation flight since Venezuela and the US established a joint program in January of last year. Over 20,000 Venezuelans have returned under the program since February 2025, according to official figures. The Venezuelan government stated the program protects and supports its citizens.
