Swedish Team Designs Reusable Dental Flosser

SNRGY Studios in Gothenburg, Sweden, developed Flossr, a reusable dental flosser made from stainless steel. The device holds up to 10 feet of floss on an internal spool, reducing plastic waste from disposable picks. A folding pick secures the floss and retracts into the case for portability.

The Flossr accommodates any brand of dental floss and includes a built-in cutter. It features a locking arm and a keychain hole for easy carrying. Currently available on Kickstarter for $34, the uncoated steel version is discounted from its planned retail price of $49.

Backers can select from four colors for $49 and receive a carrying pouch. While the team successfully funded and shipped a previous product, fulfillment of Flossr orders is not expected until January 2027.
