Greenvolt Next Romania will develop 11 solar photovoltaic projects in the Dobrogea region of Romania, totaling 2.5 MW of installed capacity. The company will finance the approximately EUR 1.6 million project, serving businesses across eight industries through power purchase agreements. Clients will pay a fixed rate for the electricity generated over 5 to 10 years, after which they will own the systems.

These projects are designed to cover around 70% of the beneficiaries’ electricity needs, with expected savings exceeding EUR 1.8 million throughout the contracts. Notable installations include systems for Dobrogea Group, a bakery and pastry producer, and for hospitality businesses La Scoica Land Hotel and La Scoica Pizzeria on the Black Sea coast.

Greenvolt Next Romania has already contracted 38.7 MWp of photovoltaic projects nationwide, with 19.2 MWp currently installed. The Dobrogea portfolio is projected to reduce carbon dioxide emissions by approximately 1,255 tonnes each year.
