Norwegian police in Stange are investigating after a young man was found seriously injured alongside the E6 highway. Authorities believe the man, a member of a group of roughly 28 students celebrating “russetid” – a traditional period before graduation – fell from the roof of a party bus while it was moving.

Police questioned several witnesses, including those onboard the bus, and have seized the vehicle as part of their investigation. The bus driver faces a charge related to due care under traffic laws, but has not lost driving privileges.

Ringsaker Secondary School, affiliated with the bus, gathered students affected by the incident, noting a strong sense of community among them. Investigators are reviewing surveillance footage from road cameras to further understand what occurred, though a conclusive explanation remains elusive. The investigation continues as authorities seek to fully reconstruct the events of that night.
