Mexican Fleets Cut Costs Up to 30% with Data Analysis

Mexican transport companies are achieving savings of up to 30% by utilizing data analysis, telematic technology, and artificial intelligence. Rising fuel prices, delayed fleet renewals, and a shortage of drivers are pushing companies to improve operational efficiency. Geotab, a Canadian firm, collects over 100 billion data points daily from more than six million connected vehicles in 163 countries.

The company uses artificial intelligence to predict mechanical failures, identify high-risk drivers, and improve overall operational efficiency. Companies implementing these solutions report reductions in operational risk, fuel consumption, maintenance costs, and carbon footprint.

Geotab recently introduced the Go Focus Plus camera, which uses AI to analyze data in real time and alert drivers to potential hazards. The company is investing over $200 million annually in research and development, with Mexico being a key market.
