ERG and Statkraft Finalize Wind Energy Supply Deal in Italy

ERG Power Generation, an Italian independent renewable energy producer, signed a seven-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Statkraft, Europe’s largest renewable energy producer. The financial agreement, beginning January 1, 2027, will deliver approximately 118 GWh per year of electricity and equivalent Guarantees of Origin produced from ERG’s wind farms in Southern Italy.

The “pay as produced” profile PPA aims to stabilize ERG’s revenue stream. This deal brings ERG’s total contracted energy to over 3.8 TWh per year in the last five years.

Statkraft intends to expand its Italian portfolio and support the country’s energy transition by integrating high-quality wind energy. The agreement will enable Statkraft to offer flexible and customized energy supply solutions to corporate clients focused on sustainability goals.
