Italian Cosmetic Firm Recertifies as B Corp

Davines Group, an Italian cosmetic company based in Parma, successfully completed recertification as a B Corporation with updated sustainability standards. The company has held B Corp certification since 2016 and has been evolving toward regenerative growth for the past decade. This fourth B Corp certification follows a rigorous review across seven key impact areas including climate action, fair labor, and human rights.

Davines has integrated sustainability into its decision-making processes and extended it throughout its supply chain. The company founded the B Corp Beauty Coalition in 2022, uniting over 50 beauty businesses to improve sustainability practices. They also implemented policies for stakeholder governance, responsible marketing to prevent greenwashing, and inclusive recruitment.

With over 10,000 B Corps operating in 163 sectors across 102 countries, and over 390 in Italy generating over 23.5 billion euros in revenue, Davines’ commitment demonstrates a growing movement toward stakeholder-driven business. The company will continue monitoring its environmental and social impact, aiming for a positive effect on people and the planet.
