Italian Cosmetics Firm Recertifies as B Corp

Davines Group, an Italian professional cosmetics company, successfully completed recertification as a B Corporation with updated, stricter sustainability standards from B Lab. The company, certified since 2016, has spent the last decade evolving toward a regenerative growth model. This fourth B Corp certification follows the adoption of a Società Benefit status and founding membership in the B Corp Beauty Coalition.

Davines integrates sustainability into its decision-making and supply chain. The new B Corp standards focus on impact areas like climate action, fair labor, and justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion.

The company has implemented policies to ensure fair recruiting practices, monitor data related to identity, and uphold human rights throughout its value chain. Davines also rigorously measures its carbon footprint and actively participates in initiatives promoting regenerative agriculture and responsible lobbying. More than 10,000 companies worldwide now hold B Corp certification, generating over 23.5 billion euros in Italy alone.
