Enda Tamweel Launches Hedera Loyalty Program in Tunisia

Enda Tamweel in Tunisia and The Hashgraph Association jointly launched a new loyalty program powered by Hedera’s distributed ledger technology. The program integrates with Enda Tamweel’s systems using APIs, creating a transparent and scalable platform for rewarding clients.

Unlike typical loyalty programs, this initiative recognizes both timely loan repayments and positive social and environmental actions. Enda Tamweel anticipates attracting around 120,000 new clients each year through a referral feature within the program. The microfinance institution currently serves over 544,000 active clients, holding 79% of Tunisia’s microfinance market.

The broader African microfinance market is expanding quickly, with projections exceeding $300 billion by 2026. However, the program’s success relies on continued adoption and scaling across other regions and industries. The Hashgraph Association believes the solution can extend to other sectors throughout Africa.
