Tata Power Revenue Declines Slightly in FY26

Tata Power reported financial results for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2026, in India. The company’s consolidated revenue from operations reached Rs 636.81 billion. This figure represents a 1.27 percent decrease from the Rs 645.02 billion reported the previous fiscal year.

Earnings before interest, taxes, and amortization increased to Rs 160.90 billion, a roughly 11 percent year-over-year rise. Profit after tax also grew, reaching Rs 51.18 billion, about a 7 percent increase year-over-year. Renewable energy segments performed strongly, with EBITDA rising 44 percent to Rs 62.28 billion.

In February 2026, Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited activated a 198 MW wind project in Karur, Tamil Nadu. The project features 55 wind turbines and aims to produce around 31 million units of electricity annually. Despite overall revenue decline, the company notes continued investment in renewable infrastructure.
