Berde Renewables Expands Solar+Storage in Philippines & Thailand

Berde Renewables signed a Master Framework Agreement with Sungrow Power and Solar Hive to deploy 200 MW of solar capacity and 500 MWh of battery energy storage systems in the Philippines and Thailand over the next three years. The I Squared Capital portfolio company will purchase Sungrow solar inverters and battery systems for commercial and industrial renewable energy projects.

Solar Hive will support the deployment with logistics, technical assistance, and after-sales service. The partnership extends to EV charging solutions, training programs, and potential co-investment opportunities.

Berde Renewables will finance, develop, and operate the renewable assets under a power purchase agreement model, transferring ownership to customers after the contract ends. These integrated projects aim to stabilize grids, shift energy from day to evening, and lower electricity costs for businesses.
