Seoul Learn Platform Surpasses 40,000 Users

Seoul Metropolitan Government reports that over 40,000 students now use Seoul Learn, a free online platform launched in 2021. The program began as COVID-19 tutoring for students struggling with school. It now expands to include AI-based English lessons, career courses, and mentoring.

The city’s review of Seoul Learn shows high school students improved their average grades. Their grades rose from 3.16 to 3.52 between semesters in 2025. Officials note increased academic impact as more students participate.

The platform focuses on students from middle school through early employment. It aims to address education gaps within Seoul’s competitive academic environment.

The city acknowledges that long-term effects on employment rates and career advancement remain to be seen. Seoul Learn will continue adding resources and monitoring student outcomes.
