Baemin Publishes English Accessibility Guide

Woowa Brothers released an English version of its “Easy Baemin App Guide” in South Korea on Global Accessibility Awareness Day. The guide uses simple language and illustrations to help elderly users and people with developmental disabilities use the food delivery app. Woowa Brothers first published the guide in 2021 and updates it each year.

This year’s edition follows a February update to the Baemin app adding multilingual features. The company notes a recent increase in foreign visitors to Korea and a roughly 300 percent surge in international payment orders last December.

Since 2021, Baemin has distributed over 870 copies of the guide to welfare centers across the country. The guide’s website has received more than 226,000 visits, and the company integrates it into digital literacy programs. Baemin continues to update the guide and expand its reach to more users.
