Tanzania Prioritizes Lifelong Learning for Future Growth

The UNESCO National Commission of the United Republic of Tanzania is working to establish a culture of lifelong learning to support the country’s Development Vision 2050. Recognizing the rapidly changing job market driven by technologies like Artificial Intelligence, the commission promotes policies and partnerships to ensure citizens continuously acquire new skills.

This initiative aligns with UNESCO’s global Lifelong Learning agenda, which emphasizes continuous education beyond formal schooling. The commission supports areas including digital learning, educational innovation, and responsible use of AI, sharing knowledge and best practices internationally.
