Oma’s Soep & Vegetarian Butcher Launch Plant-Based Sauces

Why this is here: The companies developed four new plant-based sauces, including a Bolognese featuring “Rul Gehackt” – plant-based ground meat from Oma Edith’s recipe.
Oma’s Soep and De Vegetarische Slager (The Vegetarian Butcher) jointly launched a new line of plant-based meal sauces. The products combine Oma’s Soep’s traditional recipes with plant-based meat alternatives from De Vegetarische Slager.
The new line will be available in the refrigerated section of Jumbo and Plus supermarkets. The collaboration unites two companies focused on improving the food system.
The range includes dishes like tikka masala and bolognese. Consumers can prepare a complete meal within minutes.
Fifty percent of Oma’s Soep’s profits will fund activities for lonely seniors. The sauces are fully plant-based and designed for refrigerated storage.
Four new sauces are available: Bolognese, Meatball, Korean Beef, and Tikka Masala. Prices range from €5.99 to €6.99 depending on the variety.
