Tobore, a full-stack developer, built the Delta Health Information and Appointment Booking System for rural clinics in Delta State, Nigeria, as his final year university project. The system, utilizing React.js, Node.js, PHP, and other technologies, aimed to improve healthcare access by allowing patients to book appointments and receive notifications, even with limited internet access.

Development proved challenging due to real-world conditions. He encountered bugs stemming from manual data entry errors in clinic locations, asynchronous SMS delivery confirmations, and duplicate appointment bookings caused by intermittent network connectivity.

Tobore addressed these issues through server-side validation of coordinates, implementing webhook notifications for accurate delivery status, and utilizing idempotency keys to prevent duplicate transactions. He also prioritized thorough documentation to ensure the system’s sustainability beyond his direct involvement.
