Baku Hosts Book Presentation for Elderly

Why this is here: Lecturers created educational materials in three languages—English, French, and German—on a voluntary basis to support inclusive learning.

In Baku, Azerbaijan, the Third Spring public association presented the book “Journey of Jirtdan” at an event organized by the group. Lecturers from the Department of World Languages at Azerbaijan University of Languages voluntarily prepared the publication. The association reports assisting over 46,000 elderly people with social welfare and integration programs over the last decade.

The book includes educational materials in English, French, and German. Project leader Nargiz Seyidova explained the materials aim to improve access to education through inclusive teaching. These resources use simplified explanations and visual aids to support learners with diverse needs.

Event attendees discussed the book and the association’s work. They noted inclusive education plays a key role in modern education systems.

The presentation also included poetry and song performances by people of different ages. The work to expand accessible learning resources continues.
