Nainggolan Opens School Playground in Ravels

Radja Nainggolan opened a new playground at GO! Talentenschool Blink in Ravels, Belgium. He accepted an invitation from a childhood friend whose children attend the school. Nainggolan cut a ribbon to officially open the space, signed autographs, and answered questions from students.

The school’s director, Sandra Van Hoof, shared the school showed students videos of Nainggolan playing for the Red Devils to build excitement. Nainggolan himself spoke to the students about the importance of finishing their studies, noting he chose football over completing his own education.

The new playground features a greener landscape with permeable paving, a course, an outdoor classroom, a larger sandbox, and future vegetable gardens. The school hopes the space will encourage outdoor learning and play, but long-term effects on student engagement remain to be seen.
