Liège Province Distributes Safe Party Supplies at Ardentes 2026

The Province of Liège distributed 1,500 condoms and 4,000 earplugs to approximately 6,000 festivalgoers at the Ardentes 2026 music festival in Belgium. As part of its “Liège Province Festive” campaign, the province offers health and youth support at events throughout the summer.

The initiative aims to address topics like drug and alcohol consumption, safe sex, and hearing protection without judgment. Trained students staffed a “safe zone” at the festival, providing information and materials to attendees aged 15 to 30.

The Province of Liège is recognized as a Health Promotion Operator for this project and plans to extend the campaign to over 30 events this year, prioritizing a non-moralizing approach to harm reduction. Organizers are encouraging other event planners to request the free services.
