VW Opens Pre-Orders for Affordable ID. Polo EV

Volkswagen began accepting pre-orders for the entry-level ID. Polo electric vehicle, equipped with a 37 kWh battery, targeting cost-conscious buyers.

The new model joins the recently launched 52 kWh ID. Polo and aims to provide a lower-cost entry point into Volkswagen’s electric car family.

Volkswagen emphasizes the 37 kWh ID. Polo can be rapidly charged, from 10 to 80 percent in approximately 23 minutes using DC fast charging up to 90 kW, making it suitable for daily use.

The ID. Polo will be available in two power outputs: 85 kW and 99 kW.

Despite being the base model, it maintains a high-quality interior with digital displays and ample luggage space, starting at €24,995 in Germany. Volkswagen reports over 70,000 orders for the ID.

Polo family already, including 25,000 for the standard ID. Polo. The 37 kWh variant is intended to further expand the model’s reach and attract a broader customer base.
