Modern Art Travels From Ohio to Australia

The Art Gallery of South Australia is now showing 57 works from the Toledo Museum of Art in Ohio, spanning impressionism to abstract expressionism. The exhibition features masters like Monet, Van Gogh, Picasso, and Matisse, and traces the shift of artistic influence from late 19th-century Paris to post-war New York. American artists who studied in Paris and later shaped American abstraction are central to the narrative.
