Aussie Biotech Syngenis Secures $4M for AI-Driven Platform

Perth-based Syngenis Labs secured a $4 million pre-float capital raise to develop an artificial intelligence platform and integrated ecosystem for RNA and DNA-based medicine. The company aims to bridge the gap between Australian medical research and commercial medicine production, preventing promising discoveries from being sent overseas. Syngenis is building a platform capable of taking genetic medicines from initial concept to clinical-grade manufacturing.

The funding will support construction of a Good Manufacturing Practice facility expected to be operational in January. This facility will position Syngenis as one of few labs able to manufacture human-grade oligonucleotide products for clinical trials. Simultaneously, Syngenis is developing a second AI engine to simulate clinical trials, potentially reducing development costs and risks.

Syngenis differentiates itself by controlling the entire development process and diversifying revenue streams through research services, genome testing, and investment funds. The company intends to list on the ASX and become a key part of Australia’s growing genetic medicine sector.
