Dubai Police Launch Addiction Recovery App

Dubai Police in the United Arab Emirates launched Masar Wellness, a new digital platform designed to support individuals throughout their addiction recovery journey. The platform integrates treatment, rehabilitation, community reintegration, and long-term empowerment into a single system. Four government entities collaborated on the project to standardize procedures, improve case management, and create comprehensive electronic records for each patient.

Masar Wellness allows partner organizations to track progress, manage interventions, and monitor recovery plans, using data to improve future programs.

Officials emphasize that recovery extends beyond initial treatment and requires sustained psychological, social, and professional support. The platform also prioritizes data privacy and secure information sharing between organizations to facilitate more effective treatment.
