Dubai’s JOOD Reports Dh63 Million in Q1 2026

The Dubai Community Contributions Establishment, JOOD, announced it received over Dh63 million in contributions during the first quarter of 2026. This total came from more than 1,500 contributions supporting over 30 initiatives across Dubai. JOOD focuses on health, care, housing, and quality of life improvements.

Hessa bint Essa Buhumaid, Director General of the Community Development Authority, noted the results reflect growing trust in JOOD’s transparent giving model. Ahmed Darwish Al Muhairi, Director General of the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department, emphasized support for initiatives promoting solidarity during Dubai’s “Year of Family.”

Marwan Rashid bin Hashim, JOOD’s Chief Executive Officer, stated the platform will continue to expand its partnerships and initiatives. JOOD plans to hold a philanthropy workshop for over 50 leaders to refine giving practices. The organization acknowledges the need to further encourage private sector involvement to sustain long-term impact.
