Jordan’s Royal Court Chief Checks Development Projects

Royal Hashemite Court Chief Yousef Issawi inspected Royal Initiative projects in the Balqa and Irbid governorates of Jordan to assess progress and quality. Issawi, who leads the committee overseeing these initiatives, emphasized the visits align with King Abdullah II’s focus on completing development and service projects to a high standard.

Inspections included Mahis Park, nearing 95 percent completion, and the ISO City project in Fuheis, expected to create 220 jobs in technology fields as part of a program to reduce commuting. He also reviewed the Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II Sports Complex and the newly opened Zaha Cultural Center offering programs for youth and women.

The Royal Initiatives also focus on vulnerable populations. Issawi visited the Masharea Comprehensive Center for Special Education, which serves around 100 people, and oversaw maintenance at a women’s charitable society. These projects aim to improve services, empower youth and women, and support comprehensive development throughout Jordan.
