Tennessee Pilots Quantum Computing Education in Schools

The Chattanooga Quantum Collaborative launched TN QuantumWorks, a K, 12 quantum technology and career awareness initiative, in Tennessee. The program began as a pilot within Hamilton County Schools and plans to expand across the state.

Thinking Media developed the curriculum with Dr. Dane and Sheila Boyington leading the workforce education innovations.

The initiative aims to introduce students to quantum technology and potential career paths in the field. Tennessee hopes to build a workforce prepared for the growing quantum industry.

The program represents one of the first comprehensive efforts in the United States to integrate quantum concepts into primary and secondary education. Organizers will monitor the pilot program’s impact before statewide rollout.
